This event provides students with the opportunity to perform a speech or other talent in front of a live audience. Homeschooling students often do not have much opportunity to present in front of others, so the Talent Showcase can be a valuable experience for building confidence, memorization, and presentation skills. It's lots of fun too!
When: May 23, 2026 (Sat)
Cost: ¥1000 per family
For: all ages
What: This is a chance for kids of any age to share their talents in front of an audience. Does your child need help thinking of something to perform? Here are some ideas:
Dramatic reading
Memorized speech/poem/Bible verses
Musical instrument
Dance
Magic tricks
Any talent that would be fun to show off
Families are welcome to attend even if none of their kids wish to perform.
In addition to the Talent Showcase, we are going to have community spirit fun with our theme, OCCUPATIONS!
We invite everyone - parents included- to come dressed up representing an occupation or job. Props will be available for those who need something extra or who did not come with a plan. This is just for fun, so if any members of your family don't want to dress up, that is fine. But we hope a good number of people will!
Fun group activities related to occupations are planned.
