Parallel Library: Libib

To log in the first time:

1. Go to this site: https://www.libib.com/u/ssslibrary

2. If it is your first time logging in, click on the text: Need Password?

3. Enter your email address and click Email Password

   • You will receive a "Patron email not found" message if you try to use an address not yet in the system.

4. Copy the password that has been sent to your inbox and use it to log in to https://www.libib.com/u/ssslibrary.

5. Once you log in, you will be able to reset your password to something more memorable by going to Patron Page > Edit profile

To request books from the Parallel library:

1. Once logged in, conduct a search for an author, title, or topic by using the search bar at the top.

• To browse a particular collection (e.g: Leveled Library, Authors Packs, Sonlight Curriculum, Unit Boxes, etc.), click on the collection's name in the side menu.

• You can scroll through all the titles or jump ahead by using the alphabet menu at the top

•  Click on a title for more information about the book/pack.

2. Once you find a book/pack you want:

• Click on the title/cover

• Click Add Hold, listed above 

• To find more books to place on hold, simply go "Back" or jump to a different Collection from the side bar. (Closing the checkout basket window will not lose any of the items you've placed on hold. However, logging out before clicking "Complete" will lose the items.) 

• IMPORTANT! After you have added all the books/packs you want to borrow, click Complete

Soon after you click submit, we receive an email with your requested books and will start gathering them. If you want to remove any holds or review your requested items, you can do that from your Patron Page.
