Parallel Educational Services offers a number of programs designed to help English-speaking, homeschooled students progress in their reading and writing skills.
Stories Plus
Stories Plus is our preschool program that meets on CAJ's campus 20 times during the year. There is a different theme (ie: Authors, ABCs, Countries, Science, etc.) every year. During these 45 minute lessons, we read stories, sing songs, and make a craft together.
Reading Incentive Program
The yearly reading incentive program helps children learn to enjoy books and recreational reading. Children choose 100-, 125-, or 150-day reading goals and develop simple record-keeping skills as they keep track of their reading days. When goals are met, each student receives a prize.
Typing Club
Does your child have good keyboarding skills? Practicing correctly will help your child make good habits. We recommend this program for students in grades 3 and up.
